dish next door has a new kind of takeaway service…

‘dishnextdoor’ has been brought to my attention this week and after checking it out I’m gutted that it’s not in my area!

it’s a very simple idea … when I cook my supper, I would do a few extra portions which would appear on the dishnextdoor website for a small charge ready for you to purchase and then collect from me.

all the ‘cooks’ have profiles so you can meet the people cooking your food and more often than not there’s a picture of the proposed meal on offer to get your taste buds going.

it sounds like a great idea to me and i’d love to try it … sadly for me they’ve only got cooks in 4 London postcodes, and mine isn’t one of them, so I guess i’l just have to wait until they get out to the sticks!
